Privacy Policy

1. Photo Access and Local Processing

Once you grant photo access, the app reads photo content, capture dates and times, existing photo location information, and photo identifiers within the scope of your permission. This information is used to display photos, automatically organize them by date and location, and generate visit records, experiences, and a memory star map.

You can allow access to all photos or selected photos, and you can change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings. If you change the scope of access, some photos and their associated content may no longer be displayed.

Original photos are managed by Apple's system photo library. The developer does not use this app to upload original photos, photo locations, or locally organized content to developer-operated servers. Dates, locations, titles, and notes that you manually add in the app are used for local organization and do not modify the original photo files in the system photo library.

2. Location, Maps, and Network Services

The app requests "While Using the App" location permission only when you tap the "Current Location" button. It does not request permission for continuous background location access. Viewing locations already recorded in photos does not require permission to access your device's location.

Map display, place searches, and reverse geocoding use Apple system services. These features may require an internet connection and may send coordinates, search queries, and information needed to complete requests to Apple. If original photos are stored only in iCloud, the system photo service may download the required content according to your settings. Photos that have not been downloaded and map content that has not been cached are not guaranteed to be available offline.

3. Local Storage and System Backups

Photo indexes, organizational relationships, titles, notes, manually entered dates and locations, and similar information are stored in the app's local database and files on your device.

User-created organizational information may be included in iOS system backups. Rebuildable indexes and caches are configured to be excluded from system backups. Actual backup, synchronization, and restoration behavior depends on your device settings and Apple services.

The storage and backup of original photos in the system photo library, as well as iCloud Photos synchronization, are managed by Apple's system photo library and your related settings.

4. System Photo Albums, Sharing, and Export

When you choose to save a photo chapter as an album in the system photo library, the app creates or updates the corresponding album's name and photo membership after confirmation. It does not modify the original photo files. Album changes may sync according to your iCloud Photos settings.

Sharing and export occur only when you initiate them, and you choose the recipients. Shared content may include photos, text, dates, or locations. Please review it before sending.

Recipients or external apps process the information they receive according to their own rules. Exported organizational data does not include original photos and cannot replace a backup of your original photos.

5. Accounts, Advertising, and Analytics Services

The current version does not require account registration, has no developer-operated account service, and does not integrate third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

The developer does not use this app for cross-app advertising tracking.

Network access, synchronization, and information processing by Apple system services are governed by Apple's own policies and user settings.

6. Information Retention, Permissions, and Deletion

Locally stored organizational information remains on your device until you modify it, clear the app's data, or delete the app from your device. After you revoke photo access, saved organizational information, such as titles and notes, may remain until you actively clear it.

You can:

• Change or revoke photo and location permissions in iOS Settings.
• Edit relevant organizational information in the app.
• Export organizational data you want to keep.
• Clear local app data in the app's settings.
• Delete the app from your device.

Clearing app data does not delete original photos from Apple's system photo library. It does delete indexes, notes, manually entered locations, and organizational relationships stored by this app. Please export any information you want to keep beforehand.

Existing system backups, exported files, and shared copies are not automatically deleted when local app data is cleared. They must be managed separately through the relevant system services or recipients. Some app data may be restored when you restore your device from a system backup.

7. Support Emails

If you choose to contact us by email, we receive the email address, issue description, and attachments you provide. We use this information to handle your request and communicate with you as necessary.

Please do not send your entire private photo library or sensitive information unrelated to your issue. If you provide screenshots, we recommend obscuring any unnecessary personal content first.

8. Data Security and Protection of Minors

The app uses the iOS app sandbox and system file protection mechanisms to protect local information. Please secure access to your device and exported files, and choose sharing recipients carefully. No security measure can eliminate all risks.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as the app's features or information processing practices change. We will indicate the new effective or revision date on the policy page.
